SQL Server - Introduction

SQL Server is a database engine which was introduced by Microsoft. A database is a organized collection of data which stores in electronic format. In the database, data stores in the format of rows and columns, typically we call them tables. We can access the data by sending queries.
Today in the market, there are several database engines are available like "SQL Server,MySQL,ORACLE,DB2,MSAccess"etc...
SQL stands for Structured Querying Language. SQL is a standard language for storing, manipulating and retrieving data in databases.
