Languages

As on today MS.Net supports 90+ languages for developing different types of application. These are classified into 2 types

1. .Net Compile languages
2. 3rd Partylanguages

.Net Compile languages

These languages are developed using .Net technology. These are C#,VB.Net, VC++ & Jsharp.Net etc...


Third Party languages
---------------------------
These languages are not developed by Microsoft using .Net technology but supported by .Net

Ex: PASCAL.net, COBAL.net, PERL.net etc...


.Net Technology

1. ASP.net for web based applications.
2. ADO.net for database handling
3. Remoting & web services for distributing technology.

Tools
--------
The tools of .Net framework are Compilers, debuggers, assemblies.
